walnut

This is a naturally dark colored wood. It may contain few lighter streaks but not many. There are deep ebony pores that create a beautiful rich espresso color.

white oak

This species of wood is a hard wood with a tight grain. Little to no knots. We use quarter sawn white oak, which displays a different grain pattern that traditional oak.

cherRy

This is such a warm toned wood species. This wood has so much character, some small knots and darker grain movements. It can appear to be slightly orange in color hue.

maple

This is definitely the lightest tone of all the wood species. It has a wide, grain and gives great contrast to the other darker species. Because of how light the species is, products crafted from maple may be sensitive to being stained by food items. For example, strawberries or raspberries may leave red marks on the the wood.
